The World Cup squad will be selected on July 31 following a preliminary match between Japan and the USA in the quarterfinals.
In Japan, two teams - Japan Cup winners Japan B (1-4) and Japan Cup losers Japan U (2-2) - will host the main tournament with an average of four matches a day.
Japan is set to host the Asia Cup, the finals for the Asia Cup, before qualifying for the World Cup by hosting the South American tournament.
Teams qualified for the 2018 World Cup in Brazil will be named soon.
Japan will face India on July 25 before facing Brazil for the second straight time.

Japan will not make any changes in its starting XI from its defeat by France at the Rio Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, having been reduced from its matchday 23 of Brazil's squad for the quarterfinal against France, in a match which won the opening match with a 1-0 victory.
New Zealand has not played a competitive game since their 2-0 win against Ireland in March 2017, but are still unbeaten in their previous six matches at home.
"The new shape of the squad certainly gives us the opportunity to be a bit stronger against Italy in New Zealand, especially when it comes to defense and how we want to look at our game," coach Andrew Johns said.
The last two matches at home against USA and Italy were all 2-1 losses for Japan at Mina Stadium before it lost both games 2-0.
"It's been a tough week for us," Johns added. "They've been playing good teams, teams that we've had a lot of respect for and we know they're going to be strong opponents, so that's why I thought it was important for us to bring a player in to have him come in.

Caravanners travelling to bundaberg in droves to view the spectacular view of the city's skyline were met by a bus full of cyclists.
Buses were arriving every twenty minutes from the beach in Randwick which they said was congested.
When reached, riders were told the bus would be dropping them off at the scene of the incident for the next three hours, where they would be picked up by police.
In a video posted to Twitter by one Twitter user, a group of cyclists - a young boy and girl with two-year-olds in tow - can be seen on a bus driving into a group of people riding on the road nearby.
The video shows a man in dark clothing with a dark hat on approach the bus stopped in front of a small group of people and then, before driving off, the bus stopped in front of a group of people and pulled up next to the group just past the first line of traffic.
Another view taken close to the bus was then shown to the driver, who was seen walking to the side of the road and looking at them, apparently oblivious to what was happening.
The bus then drove away, to the confusion of many who filmed it on their mobile phones and then were shocked to see the incident unfold.
Others commented about the shocking sight as the video made its way around Twitter.
