Spanish dna team seeks roots of columbus disease in India

This was done with assistance from the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) Director General VK Gaur said the aim of the probe is to investigate the cause of columbus disease.
"The scientific team from IIT Delhi has already done preliminary studies that are being made available to the scientists from other institutions... but the first scientific objective has still to be completed," he said.
Gaur further said the probe is going on the ground with a team from the IRNSS Centre of Excellence for Geosciences.
There are three different phases for this mission. Phase I will focus on geoscience and the environment around a scientific sample with a remote sensing satellite. Phase II will investigate the biological root cause of columbus disease. Phase III will collect data to identify the environmental factors that are behind this disease.
According to a news report earlier this year, the researchers of the Indian Institute of Science (IIT) Delhi are trying to find its source and the roots of this disease within India. The researchers are now trying to establish how the epidemic started to emerge among the people of a small village in Gurgaon.
Dr. Gaur said he will announce the results of the first phase of the study at a press conference in August. He then plans to conduct a more detailed phase of the research.
Columbus disease affects approximately 2.3 crore people in India, affecting about one in 13 people in the country as a whole. Columbus is a highly contagious form of tuberculosis or swine flu that kills the patient within about 15-20 minutes.
The disease is highly infectious, affecting about 500,000 people each year.
In 2016, over half a million people of India became the victims of columbus. The disease is believed to have started in western states and now also reaches states in eastern and southern India, Pakistan, India's eastern neighbour Bangladesh and parts of China.
According to the World Health Organization, it kills around 600,000 people a year and causes more than four million hospitalisations.

National rural news community website, Daily Kos, posted a list of its top priorities for 2017, and came out strongly against any bill that cuts taxes or cuts spending. "While most lawmakers might support a tax reduction, our priorities should be to fund core government functions such as education, medical care, and national security," Daily Kos Executive Director Jon Kind pointed out. "Tax cuts will hurt many of these essential services, even those that provide essential services such as funding education, and the GOP's proposed cuts will result in fewer Americans with access to vital services. This hurts our economy and kills jobs."
But the White House wasn't the only one to support the bipartisan framework. President Donald Trump also signed a letter arguing that reducing taxes by $1.5 trillion or more would create jobs and spur investment.
"We call on Congress to work with us on bipartisan legislation that is fair and balanced, with the American people benefiting," Trump wrote in the letter to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi. "We strongly believe that lowering tax rates across all bracketsââ?¬â??including those at the topââ?¬â??will create more opportunity, grow our economy and drive down the deficit," he continued. "That is what we want to promote."
Republicans aren't alone in their views on tax cuts: Many Democrats have said they oppose raising taxes on most Americans. And last month, President Barack Obama and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi voted to oppose a Republican-backed legislation that would have required all companies with income over $500,000 to contribute to the federal health care system. But in June, a bill to raise the top personal income tax rate to 39.6 percent was approved in the House, but only with no increases in taxes on the middle and working classes.
